| « History of Todd Wenzel Buick GMC When Wenzel set his sights on moving back to Michigan in September of 2001, he purchased Todd Wenzel Pontiac GMC (formerly known as Orson E Coe) on 28th Street. After experiencing tremendous growth, Wenzel had the opportunity to add the Buick franchise in December 2005, which changed the store name to Todd Wenzel Buick Pontiac GMC. In November 2005, a new customer lounge was built in the Service Department which features a main lounge, kids’ lounge and quiet area with work stations and free wireless Internet access. Todd Wenzel Buick Pontiac GMC has remained the number one volume dealer in West Michigan for seven years running. After finishing high school, Wenzel went to work for a local dealer and quickly rose to the position of Finance Director. It was during this time that he had set his sights on operating his own dealership. GM was instrumental in placing Wenzel in Portland, Maine where he went on to purchase a Chevy dealership. Under his leadership, the dealership took a drastic turn around and became New England¹s largest volume GM dealership. He started a successful used vehicle franchise and also purchased a Chevrolet Olds Cadillac dealership in Connecticut. Both dealerships were thriving but one thing was missing; living and doing business in West Michigan. In 2001, Todd Wenzel purchased Todd Wenzel Buick Pontiac GMC on 28th Street and just four short years later, he purchased Todd Wenzel Chevrolet in Hudsonville. “When I moved back to West Michigan eight years ago, I knew one thing was certain; I would have a top ranking GM dealership in this community by keeping my customers at the forefront,” said Wenzel. “I am blessed to have 150 hard-working and dedicated employees and nearly 60,000 customers and will work every day to maintain leadership in the industry by putting our customers’ needs first,” Wenzel said. |  |
